Any would-be guru who advocates opportunism in the face of crisis should be run out of town on a rail, for his / her advice will only compound the danger of the crisis.

Does it sound pessimistic? In this moment of history I choose to look to the east for answers

(sorry for the long long text. Thanks to Max I got inspired)

The ji of weiji, in fact, means something like “incipient moment; crucial point (when something begins or changes).” Thus, a weiji is indeed a genuine crisis, a dangerous moment, a time when things start to go awry. A weiji indicates a perilous situation when one should be especially wary. It is not a juncture when one goes looking for advantages and benefits. In a crisis, one wants above all to save one’s skin and neck!

This is of course a widespread public misperception, as If people adopt this notorious formulation as the basic premise of a method for making increased profits even when the market is falling.

While that may be what opportunists advocates, the chinese “crisis” means something all together different.

So, how should we understand this misconceived proverb?

When the world is in a crisis, many leaders read their strategy literature looking for answers for the crisis. Many say we should look to the East

But, one of the the biggest misunderstandings in the change literature is that the chinese word for “crisis” is composed of elements that signify “danger” and “opportunity.

The new film meets Wall Street’s iconic trader Gordon Gekko as he leaves prison. The script is being written by Allan Loeb, a former Chicago stock broker. I hope Michael Douglas accept the role.

Back to the economy Max Keiser. It is no longer difficult to give a diagnosis of the crisis, but I wish you shared more of your profetic wisdom to describe a medication?

I am eagerly waiting for the Wall Street II film to hit the big screen, and I have a hope what the topic will be:

Greed built this nation and greed brought this nation down.

But what will Gordon Gekko be like when he is back? It may seem an unlikely time to revisit the notion that “greed is good”,
20th Century Fox is already working on a sequel titled “Money never sleeps”

The Gekkos of the world are still out there. The market can be a good serveant, but it has proven to be a bad master. Greenspan should have known this but he has been blinded by his liberal ideologi.

Maybe it is time to reintroduce Edmund Burke, the founder of Conservative Philosophy, to the confused neo-liberal minds of the world: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing”

Max, I love your big and punchy mouth

“Greed, for lack of a better word, is good,” proclaimed cutthroat corporate raider Gordon Gekko in the 1987 movie Wall Street. That was around the time you Max was in real life a part of the Wall street Yuppies scene in New York.

The movie’s director, Oliver Stone was right on the moneytopic at the time, but unfortunately the audience reacted bye turning Cekko into a hero.

He must have meant that those nations are either selling alot of their Oil reservers to raise money to pay for the wortless bonds in their books; or they have reduced their big purchase on Oil in other to re-direct money to pay for these poison assets.

Either way you look at it, the supply of Oil is greater than its current demand, hence the price is crashing….The Saudis recently reduced their output, but the supply still out-weighs the demand and the price will keep going south.

he can’t,he not a good lair.

  17. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

It’s called poetic license to call someone an infidel. Comic effect. Let the guy have his style. Proof? See his 2007 statement that Iceland would collapse. Bush a criminal? Check out, for one, the EPA report on NY air quality after 911. Bush ordered it changed to non-toxic depite abundant asbestos and other chemicals. Hundreds of firefighters are suffering respiratory fatalities.

Sadly, you’re wrong. Most people are busy with their lives, upside down mortgages, pending downsizing, kid’s rash of wierd health problems to have the time for serious research. And - it takes a lot to get people to understand. They don’t get it, and don’t want to. It’s too scary, methinks.

  19. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

Yes, he’s brilliant with props. Did you catch Max’s flash of the “Little Red Book” as the new US Constitution? Inspired!

(At least, I *think* he meant it as a Chairman Mao communist reference.)

    Max for U.S. Treasury Secretary!

  21. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

I was watching Fox this morning where a couple of Cavuto’s guests were arguing passionately for more bailouts, more money for the banks and auto makers and everyone else with a failed business that has political pull.

Neil and Ben Stein were really going at it and talking over each other. So even many of the talking heads now are furious over this debacle, though they can’t quite bring themselves to talk about it as plainly as Max does.

We need more people to call out the criminals!

  22. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

The use of the word infidel isn’t exclusive to Islam. As defined by the Oxford English dictionary, Infidel: a person who has no religion or whose religion is not that of the majority. That can mean non Muslim, non Christian etc.

  23. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

If you want proof just look at the millions of Iraqis that have had to flee since Bush the god damn murderer invaded.

I guess shitforbrains Americunts like yourself don’t remember that Saddam HATED Islamists and terrorists.

Now women have no rights, have to wear Islamic clothing, Christians are persecuted etc.

    Bush should be shot!!!

  24. Anonymous on December 5th, 2008 4:57 am

thats my question.. what facts?? Lets see proof that Bush is a criminal and see facts and proof that this mans allegations are in fact true. He called them infidels.. and an infidel is a NON MUSLIM. You sound like the kind of person who just believes what they HEAR, and not looks for the facts. that doesnt seem intelligent to me
