Giant Robot Project: Part 19 “Robo-Packing”

My work in Flroida is done. I’ve got all major walking components done up to the legs. I’ll finish the legs in VERMONT! Yay! Its thawing out up there, and I have a secret mountain laboratory, and a tower, and maple syrup waiting to be made. mmmm. So, I’m out! I’ll be stopping on the way up there to make some moneys, though.
…and ever since I read that looking at boobs for 20 minutes a day is healthy for males, I changed my background to a naked lady. I feel younger already! uhh… I guess.
Mostly I feel like I have to close my computer every time my little brother comes by! ha ha. Whats the big deal, though! They’re just breasts! Most of us spend a year sucking on them. sheesh. Now they’re all like these mysterious “don’t look at them” things.

Well… with any luck I’ll have my workshop finished kinda soon. Then I can break out the robot parts again. :-) Too bad I don’t have a humungous workshop ready to go already. :-P …but hopefully soon will.

HA! Then you know its education of the world! University was a complete waste of time by comparison. All I got out of school was a piece of paper that says I’m “high class”, or… “a fancy lad”, or… “likely and inconsiderate prick”

Ah, you don’t have to answer that. I just read the other comments on this video.

If you don’t mind my asking, What sort of education did you go through which prepared you for being this awesome?

  14. Anonymous on November 20th, 2008 12:00 pm

    Any time. :)

Oh, thanks! Its nice to know someone has me covered when I’m on the mountain with no internet. :-)

ha ha, I like your name.
I’ll see what I can do about showing the mechanisms. I may just draw up some plans, and sell ‘em or something.
I’m gonna focus on getting the thing finished first, though!

Speaking of how it works, how does it work? The thing that first attracted me to this project is how cool the mechanism is, that it doesn’t have to turn to change direction. Can we see a close-up of the mechanics of the model running?
Maybe you should wait until you’ve got a patent or something, but I for one would like to see it some time.
Keep up the good work. You’re making the world a more awesome place, and what more can any of us wish for?

Firstly, Jamie’s a nice guy, there’s no need to be rude if he makes a mistake.
Secondly, he didn’t make a mistake, he made a joke. It was a pretty simple joke, and you completely missed it. Not too bright are you?

It’ll have 6 legs. It would only look like that if you know how it works, though. :-P

  20. Anonymous on November 20th, 2008 12:00 pm

I meant larger, but I was thinking about the smaller one when I was counting the legs.. Soooo.. yeah =P

  21. Anonymous on November 20th, 2008 12:00 pm

Wow, you talk about putting naked ladies on your desktop, and suddenly around 1:30 your grubby face is all clean shaven.. Amazing.. I should try that..

Anyway, I was wondering, how many legs is this smaller one going to have?..Also 6? Because it sort of looks like 3 to me at this point.

ohh… trying to call me stupid, eh? Well, then… Next time you call someone “not bright”, you should make sure you use the correct “too”.
Ohh….. and you should also make sure you don’t miss the joke. Flroida is different than Florida. See the difference?
    Flroida
    Florida
Hmmm. You have earned the smacko award. That means that you should be smacked today. (no, not hard. …ok ok, no real smacking. I’m just playing about that)

Aw, thanks! Now I’m sort of wishing I’d stayed a few more weeks. ha ha. Its April, and there are STILL several feet of snow on the ground! Well, at least I’v been having a chance to make maple syrup.

Sorry to see Florida losing one of its newest neat people (well, at least for those of us who read the Times). That article didn’t do how awesome you are any justice. Good luck and God speed with the completion of your bot. I’ll be keeping an eye on your progress from the Sunshine State.
