Totally agree. I mentioned dry goods, assuming beans would be included. Learn how to cook dry beans, if you do not know how. Thanks Bohemian!

Please learn to also store and cook beans, preferably with your rice. Rice alone, and beans alone are INCOMPLETE protiens. Beans and rice together are COMPLETE protiens. Complete protiens allow your body to live, heal wounds, children to grow, and pregnant ladies produce viable, healthy babies. Incomplete protiens do not allow for these things.

Note, canned meat will provide your complete protien.

I’m accumulating as many non-hybrid seeds as possible, but no grain yet. Finding a local natural resource to make mash is on my to-do list. Thanks :)

Either store alcohol, or learn to brew your own! While I don’t drink myself, I understand the value of using alcohol for trade purposes, therefore, I am getting familiar with various methods by which to create said beverages. I have a book called drinks of the wild, teaches you how to make real root beer and other less mentionables. Do you have any other grains stored? Worst case scenario, might good to store that which you can save, and that which you can plant down the road.
